Whether you are a prospective parent or a current parent, we hope you will gain further insight into our school community and its mission through this site.

ICSJ is an incredibly special place because of the many dedicated individuals associated with the school. The administration, faculty, parents, students, and parishioners have all contributed a tremendous amount of time and energy to make ICSJ the Catholic school of choice for families from over twenty different Chicago neighborhoods.

ICSJ opened its doors in 2002 to seventeen wonderful prekindergarten and kindergarten students. In our 21st year as a school community, we look back and remain in awe of our many accomplishments. We have grown to be a school of over 300 students across two state-of-the-art campuses, whose high-achieving graduates gain entry into the most selective high schools in Chicago and then, four years later, to some of the most prestigious universities!

Our numerous accomplishments include the opening of our second campus in 2011, launching a 1:1 iPad program for students in Grades 4-8 in 2016 and expanding to allow 1:1 devices in grades Kindergarten through Grade 3 in 2020, providing wonderful enrichment classes to develop the whole child, a competitive athletic program, and standardized test scores that consistently place our students in the top ten percent of the nation, and our school among the top elementary schools in Chicago. 

Although this website is a wonderful introduction to our school and serves as a hub of information for our current and prospective families, a visit to ICSJ will offer a complete picture of the vibrant and nurturing environment that is Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph School.
