Choosing a school for your family is about more than just choosing the right curriculum or building. It's also about finding a supportive and welcoming community...a home away from home for your kids and your family...a group of friends who will help you decide that raising your family in the city IS possible!

There's no better way to see if ICSJ feels like home to you than to join us for an hour or two to see our community in action!

We've got plenty of opportunities for you to join us for some fun throughout the year...we'll be adding more activities as they are planned. Please come back to this page regularly to see what's coming up next!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17
Family Fall Fest

Join our ICSJ Parent Association as they host our Annual Family Fall Fest! This Saturday late morning/early afternoon event will offer fall and Halloween-themed activities for kids of all ages, including a bouncy house, arts and crafts, a DJ with dance competitions, a Halloween Costume Contest, and more! Bring some cash for food and drinks from the concession stand! Entry for our prospective families is FREE, but we do ask you to REGISTER HERE.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 – 8:30-9:30 AM

Halloween Parade (Watching) and Little Dolphins Halloween Party

Our littlest friends (babies through 3 years old) and their caregivers are invited to come and watch our school's Halloween Parade and then stay for our Little Dolphins Music & Movement Class and Halloween Party!

We'll gather out in front of our 1431 N. North Park Campus to watch our JK - 3rd graders as they march in their Annual Costume Parade, and then we'll head into the school for our Music & Movement Class and Halloween Party!

Kids are encouraged to dress in costumes.

There will be coffee for the adults and juice boxes for the kiddos. Friends are welcome to bring non-nut, non-"chokey" treats to share. Please RSVP HERE.

NOVEMBER 8
Parent-Led Playdate

Join our current ICSJ parents with JK and Kindergartners as they host a playdate in our Preschool wing and Early Childhood Play Lot on Sunday afternoon, November 8, from 2:30 - 4 PM. Kids will enjoy a Fall craft and open play in our Early Learners Classroom, Face Painting, a light snack and water bottle, and some outdoor play in our Early Childhood Play Lot and Play Structure! Parents will enjoy getting to know other families within our ICSJ community! This is a FREE event, but we do ask that you REGISTER HERE so that we can plan accordingly!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11 – 8:30-9:30 AM

Little Dolphins Christmas Caroling Party & Free Play

Our youngest friends (babies through 3 years old) are invited to join us (with their caregivers) to sing Christmas songs enjoy some holiday cheer at our Little Dolphins Music & Movement Class Christmas Party! Coffee will be provided for adults and store-bought Christmas cookies and juice boxes for the kiddos!

This will be our last Little Dolphins class of the calendar year. We'll pick up class again after Christmas break!

A SATURDAY MORNING IN JANUARY (DATE TBD) Family Basketball Fun Day!

Families with small kids are invited to attend our January Family Basketball Fun Day! We'll have a full morning of league games (4th - 8th grade games vs. other Catholic schools) and we're inviting families to arrive early to shoot hoops with our players on the court! We'll have various sized hoops available for the smallest friends!

Then, stick around to enjoy free entrance to the games, a free back of popcorn, and grab an ICSJ spiritwear t-shirt for your little one! This is a great way to check out our Hill Street Campus, where our 4th - 8th graders learn daily!
