Early Childhood (Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten)

Young learners use technology in developmentally appropriate ways to deepen their understanding of foundational concepts. Shared iPads support small group activities and individualized instruction. For example, students use interactive apps to retell stories, identify key details, and explore characters, fostering comprehension and engagement.

Grades 1–3

In Grades 1–3, students follow a 1:1 shared iPad model. Apps like Raz-Kids, Epic, iReady, and Mathletics enable personalized learning tailored to individual needs. Students also enhance critical thinking and teamwork skills by using iPads to annotate documents with voice and text during group projects.

Grades 4–8

Students in Grades 4–8 benefit from a 1:1 iPad program that seamlessly integrates technology into daily instruction. They collaborate with peers and teachers through Google Workspace, create movies and digital presentations, and conduct research using online tools. These digital resources complement traditional methods, equipping students to assess, manage, and synthesize information from diverse sources.

Digital Citizenship

ICSJ partners with Common Sense Media to ensure students become responsible and ethical digital citizens. Through age-appropriate lessons, students learn to navigate the digital world safely and thoughtfully, building a foundation for lifelong digital literacy.

Apple Teacher Program

Our faculty includes certified Apple Teachers, recognized for their expertise in using Apple products to enhance creativity and productivity in the classroom. This distinction reflects ICSJ’s commitment to delivering innovative and inspiring learning experiences.
