ICSJ Scientists Win BIG! Dolphin scientists are a formidable force at the 2017 Illinois Regional and State Science Fairs. ICSJ Students Win Top Honors at the Regional Science Fair! This year, five 8th grade ICSJ students were selected to compete at the regional science fair at the Museum of Science and Industry. Their hard work paid off in the form of multiple award recipients. Shark Tank Invades ICSJ Who really rules the ocean? The ICSJ Dolphins showed no fear when facing the Shark Tank! ICSJ Teachers Participate in TEC Mentors Professional Development Program Two of ICSJ's early childhood teachers participated in a year long program with the Erikson Institute and their Technology in Early Childhood program. ICSJ Celebrates CCYL Champs! 5th grade boys white and 7th grade boys celebrate the CCYL conference championship! Literacy Inspired STEM Challenge Kindergarteners and second graders worked together to complete a Dr. Seuss inspired STEM challenge. Mathletics Success! Our students are loving the Mathletics program! For the first half of the year, we have had an average activity improvement gain of 13.90%, 412,640 Curriculum points earned and students have spent an additional 1998 hours on Mathletics after school! We are so proud of our student's success, and we look forward to what the new year will bring!
